Organic Skincare

The benefits of organic and natural skincare are amazing. Just like we monitor what we ingest in our body, we should also monitor what we put on our skin, as our skin absorbs any product on our skin, into our body.
Shimi has a beautiful range or natural aromatherapy skin care products : http://shimi.com.au/store/index.php?cPath=7 . Not only are the products wonderful on the skin, they smell delicious. I personally use the scrub http://shimi.com.au/store/product_info.php?products_id=201, toners http://shimi.com.au/store/product_info.php?products_id=202and moisturisers http://shimi.com.au/store/product_info.php?products_id=217 religiously, but I also love the lip balm http://shimi.com.au/store/product_info.php?products_id=198, and the shampoo and conditioner. http://shimi.com.au/store/product_info.php?products_id=224

If you have problem skin our Green Clay Mask is amazing http://shimi.com.au/store/product_info.php?products_id=220. You can feel it draw the impurities out of your skin - I love it.

It is wonderful to have fresh and happy skin, but as women we always feel the need to pop on makeup (who doesn't love mascara, or a dab of lippy). We have found some great organic makeup products on the market from a company called Naturally Safe : http://www.naturallysafe.com.au/ProductList/C15,75/Cosmetics

Or Bare Naked Beauty http://www.barenakedbeauty.com.au/products/niyama_naturally_nude_lip_glaze/442/102 has some glorious products like this gorgeous Lip Gloss

For all your skin care needs though at really excellent prices (compare them to department stores and you will find them comparable or less expensive) head to http://shimi.com.au/store/index.php?cPath=7

  1. What you use on your skin can either help it or harm it, depending on what's in the product.

Therefore, it's important to consider the ingredients in ALL the products you use - like those on your hair as well as your skin. Research is showing a buildup of chemicals on the skin can cause acne, dryness (which leads to prematurely aging skin) and skin cancer.

Skin with rosacea tends to react even more to these toxins.

With so many manufacturers using chemicals in their products, almost any product - cleansers, moisturizers, shampoos, conditioners, hair gels and sunscreens - can be causing breakouts on your face and body.

Here's a page that shows what to look for in organic products as well as ingredients to avoid in skin and hair care products. http://www.best-mens-skin-care.com/organic-skin-care.html

To find chemical-free products, read labels and research ingredients - or start with certified organic ingredients which don't contain harmful chemicals.
